The Valencia CF coach talks after the 2-2 result against Deportivo Alavés
In Valencia CF's first three LaLiga home games of the 2023/24 season, Mestalla has registered an average attendance of more than 43,300, as the team look to make their ground a fortress.
Uptake amongst season ticket holders stands at 93.9%, with more than 30,000 at the stadium each game.
So far this season at Mestalla, Valencia CF have achieved victories against UD Las Palmas and Atletico Madrid, and will seek the third against Real Sociedad in the first midweek fixture of the campaign.
For the first two games at the ground, the Grada de Animación stand was closed due to a sanction, reducing the possible attendance by 1,500. However, some 41.542 fans still came to the game against UD Las Palmas, and 42,539 for the match against CA Osasuna. With full capacity permitted again, Valencia CF welcomed 45,482 supporters against Atletico Madrid.
The last time there was an influx of fewer than 40,000 people at Mestalla was against Sevilla FC, in April 2023.
Wednesday's game against Real Sociedad kicks off at 9:30pm local time.
